University of Washington: Neurotechnology

The projects offered by this REU to undergraduate interns are focused on neurotechnology and its application to fields like medicine. Students conduct research in these fields, attend lectures on ethics and presentation skills, and present their research at the end of the summer in a poster session.

Deadline: Jan. 15, 2020

Duration: June 16, 2020 (Tuesday) and end on August 21, 2020 (Friday)

Stipend:

  1. A stipend of $5,500.
  2. Reimbursement of travel expenses to a maximum of $750.
  3. Housing on the host university campus (at no cost to the REU student)

Eligibility:

  1. Be a student at a college or university in the United States; students who have graduated from college before the start of the REU program are not eligible.
  2. Be 18 years old by the first day of the REU program.
  3. Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the U.S. (or its territories).
